Many of the Nepali artisans we work with are the last keepers of a heritage craft their grandparents knew by heart. We sit with them, learn from them, and bring the next generation back to the bench, the loom, the kiln. Some of it looks backward: to the patterns our grandmothers wore, to rituals and techniques carried forward rather than reinvented. Some of it looks outward: to women's and LGBTQI+ rights still being fought for, and to a climate that's changing faster than it should.
